Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ipse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

What Ipse is

Ipse is a personal AI reflection tool designed to help you understand your own thinking patterns, emotional tendencies, and communication style. Ipse is not a mental health service, medical device, or substitute for professional psychological support.

Not a replacement for therapy

Ipse is explicitly not a replacement for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Ipse. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You may not share your account with others
• You may not use Ipse for any illegal or harmful purpose

Subscriptions and billing

Ipse offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Premium is available as a monthly or annual plan and renews automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing billing@ipse.app. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

Annual Premium purchases include a 30-day money-back guarantee handled manually via Stripe: email billing@ipse.app within 30 days of purchase to request a refund. We do not currently offer a free trial — the Free plan, with monthly chat and voice limits, serves as the trial.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ipse to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or manipulate the AI system
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the service in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure

Intellectual property

The Ipse app, its design, brand, and underlying technology are owned by Ipse and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your personal data and conversations remain yours.

Limitation of liability

Ipse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Ipse after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
